Paul H. Barry, MBA

Mr. Barry has over thirty years of management experience and has served in senior executive roles for several of the world's largest mining and energy companies. Previously, Mr. Barry served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kinross Gold Corporation where he oversaw $16.5 billion of assets, raised $5 billion in new debt financing, and advised the Board regarding capital spending across four global regions. In addition, Mr. Barry has served at Duke Energy, BP/Amoco, and General Electric.

Currently, Mr. Barry is Chief Executive Officer of Public Infrastructure Partners LLC (PIP), an operating platform and principal investor in the energy and mining sectors with offices in Toronto, New York, Houston, and Charlotte. PIP originates, advises, and invests in both public and private companies, and co-ventures with select private equity funds, hedge funds and merchant banks.

Mr. Barry also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Candente Copper Corp. in addition to several private company boards. Mr. Barry is a Senior Advisor, Mining & Metals, to Atlas Advisors, a New York City-based independent investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance advisory services. Mr. Barry is a member of the Board of Advisors of Orgone Development L.L.C., a Ghana power project developer focused on investing in the electrification of Sub-Saharan Africa, especially for gold mining operations.

Joanne C. Freeze, P.Geo.

Joanne (Joey) C. Freeze is CEO and co-founder of Candente Copper Corp. Since entering the mineral exploration business in 1979, Ms. Freeze has managed exploration programs and evaluated projects for both junior and major international mining companies such as Queenstake Resources Ltd., Arequipa Resources Ltd., Mountain Province Mining Inc., Placer Dome Inc., Dia Met Minerals Corp., Hughes/ Lang Group and Utah Mines Ltd. (BHP).

Ms. Freeze lived and worked in Peru from 1994 to 1997 where she carried out both project generation work and property evaluations for Canadian and Peruvian companies. As a result of her experience in Peru, a partnership was formed with Peruvian geologist Ing. Fredy Huanqui (co-discoverer of the Pierina gold mine) and a new mineral exploration company was born. Candente Resource Corp. was established in 1997, which operated privately until going public on May 15, 2000. Since then Candente Resource Corp. has spun-out various assets to form two other companies, Candente Gold Corp. and Cobriza Metals Inc.. All three companies are listed on the TSX and the Candente companies are co-listed on the Lima stock exchange. Ms. Freeze is CEO of all three companies and President of Candente Gold Corp.

Ms. Freeze obtained a B.A. in Geography from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1981. She is a Fellow Member of the Geological Association of Canada and is registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, Canada.

Larry Kornze, P.Eng.

Mr. Kornze holds an exceptional 34 year career in international gold exploration. He retired from Barrick Gold Corporation as the General Manager of Exploration for Mexico and Central America, and International Evaluations. Prior to working internationally, Larry was the US Exploration Manager for Barrick Gold Exploration Inc. and was responsible for the Goldstrike Mine exploration with discoveries at Betze, Meikle, Deepstar, Screamer and Rodeo.

Prior to joining Barrick in 1985, Mr. Kornze held various positions with Newmont and Getty Mining Co. in North America.

Dr. Kenneth G. Thomas, P.Eng., F.C.I.M.

Dr. Kenneth G. Thomas was until July 2012 Senior Vice President, Projects, Kinross Gold Corporation. Previously, for 6 years, Mr. Thomas was a Global Managing Director and Board Director at Hatch, a leading international engineering and construction firm headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario with approximately 10,000 employees worldwide. From 1987 to 2001, Dr. Thomas served in progressively more senior roles at Barrick Gold Corporation ("Barrick"), from Vice President, Metallurgy to Senior Vice President, Technical Services. At Barrick, he had direct responsibility for the research and development, engineering, construction and commissioning of mine surface plants and infrastructure, including the development of large scale gold autoclave and roaster facilities at Barrick's Goldstrike mine.

Dr. Thomas' knowledge of mining in the Americas is extensive, gained through mine building for Kinross, Barrick and Hatch, and also having served as the Executive Vice President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer for Crystallex International Corporation from 2003 to 2005 where he managed mine exploration, operations and projects in Venezuela and Uruguay.

In addition to his doctorate in Technical Sciences (project implementation) from Delft University of Technology (Netherlands, 1994), Dr. Thomas has received several prestigious awards including, Mill Man of the Year in 1991, Airey Award in 1999 and the Selwyn G. Blaylock Medal in 2001, all awarded by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum for advances in the mining and metallurgical industry.

Ian Ward, P.Eng.

Mr. Ward is a professional engineer (Ontario) and metallurgist with extensive experience in the processing of gold and base metal ores and industrial minerals. He has executive/senior management experience, practical plant operating experience, extensive engineering experience and has for the past 19 years been intimately involved in a variety of feasibility studies, audits, operations support and project evaluations. After operational positions, Ian spent 16 years with Kilborn Ltd. (now SNC-Lavalin), then 12 years as President of Micon International followed by 5 years with Kinross Gold Corp mostly as VP and Chief Metallurgist.

Mr. Ward's specific areas of technical expertise include: Gold extraction, SAG milling, heap leaching, base metal flotation, environmental studies, feasibility studies and plant evaluations. He has extensive experience in Canada/USA and overseas through many assignments in South America, Mexico, Russia, Spain, West Africa and Saudi Arabia.
